On the 5th July 2025 a team of both Neonatal Staff and Ex Neonatal Parents from Luton and Dunstable Neonatal Intensive Care Unit are taking on the challenge to walk 18 miles, and within 8 hours. Our charity walk presents a significant physical challenge, but also offers a rewarding experience, while boosting fitness and mental well-being while contributing to an amazing cause that means a lot to all involved.

We need your support and generosity to help reach our overall total target of £75,000 to improve and enhance the vital Family Facilities we have been gratefully provided within the new Acute Service block, and move across to later on this year. Parents are a vital part of the Neonatal team, and play a central role in the care of their baby. Therefore every contribution—big or small—will make a meaningful difference to reaching our overall target.

The starting point will be at Bedford Hospital, (South Wing) walking 18.8 miles via the B530, with a pit stop in Flitwick for refreshments (kindly provided by former Daddy Rob Burton) and finishing at Luton & Dunstable Hospital, Social Club.
