The Salvation Army in Strood is based in the heart of the community and we strive to share God’s love through all we are and do. Our Vision is to be a hub of hope for all who need it, that is a warm, welcoming and safe space, with a friendly face and which, for some, will be a sacred place too.

We want to create a community garden on an identified space at the front of our building in Strood. This fund will help with the clearing and preparation of the area, so it is safe for all to get involved. It will also help with the cost of the equipment needed to develop and maintain the garden and the initial purchase of plants and seeds to start to establish the garden.
