Kitten season has arrived with a bang here in Stroud branch! 🐱

Our incredible team of volunteers has already homed 2 litters of kittens this season — and we currently have another 4 litters in foster care, that's 16 tiny lives being looked after right now by our dedicated foster carers.

Meet the kittens keeping us busy:

🐾 The Y Kittens — Yves, Yannis, Yana, Yasmine and Yogi. This little family of five were found abandoned in a garden shed and are now safe, warm and thriving in foster care.

🐾 Dorothy's Kittens — Bobbie, Bert and Pearl. Their mum Dorothy was living rough behind a garage before being rescued. Thanks to our volunteers, this family of four now have everything they need.

🐾 Dora's Kittens — Dora came into our care whilst pregnant and has since welcomed four beautiful kittens into the world, safe in a loving foster home.

🐾 Betsy's Kittens — Betsy also came to us whilst pregnant and has given birth to four kittens of her own, all thriving in the care of our amazing volunteers.

None of this would be possible without two things: the extraordinary dedication of our volunteer foster carers, who open their homes and hearts to cats and kittens in need, and the generosity of people like you.

Every penny donated goes directly towards the care of our cats — vet bills, vaccinations, neutering, food, and all the essentials that give these kittens the best possible start before they find their forever homes.

To put it into perspective, here's what your donation could cover:

• 20p — feeds a kitten for a day

• £5 — contributes towards a vet health check for a kitten

• £10 — could provide the specialist milk needed to keep a litter of newborn kittens alive

• £10 — covers a flea and worming treatment

• £20 — covers a follow-up vet exam

• £75+ — contributes towards a kitten's full vaccination course

Stroud branch is entirely volunteer run. There is no paid staff, no central funding — just a passionate group of people who give their time freely because they believe every cat deserves a chance. Your donation, however big or small, makes their work possible.
