Story
I’m taking part in the London to Brighton Bike Ride (54 miles) on September 13th to raise vital funds for CARAS—an organisation that means a great deal to me.
For just over a year, I’ve served as a trustee for CARAS. It is dedicated to supporting refugees and asylum seekers in South London as they rebuild their lives after escaping persecution, war, and conflict.
CARAS provides essential, practical support services — from English language lessons and youth activities to expert advice on navigating the complex asylum system and settling into the local community.
Like many small charities, CARAS is facing an exceptionally challenging funding environment right now. Every donation, no matter the size, directly helps to keep these essential services running.
Thank you so much for your support!
