This April, myself and fellow colleagues at TMK will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Supporting the work and research of cancer charities in the UK has for a long-time been a cause close to my heart. However, as part of a family that in the past year has directly benefited from the life-saving work of The Royal Marsden, raising funds has an taken on a personal significance.

As the world's first hospital dedicated to cancer diagnosis, treatment, research and education, The Royal Marsden now treats over 59,000 NHS and private patients each year in conjunction with the Institute of Cancer Research, its principal academic partner. By running the London Landmarks Half Marathon I hope to contribute - however much I can - to the vital work of the hospital.
