Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Friday 30th May 2025, I will be taking part in a sponsored 12 hour surfathon @ Croyde Beach, North Devon to raise money for The Wave Project and their adaptive surf programmes.

The Surfathon will start at 8am and run through to 8pm and I hope to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity.

Here's a little bit about the amazing work the wave project do with the adaptive surf program:

Surfing is for everyone. They know that some people with physical disabilities simply want to try surfing as an experience rather than doing a course.

With this in mind, The Wave Project have introduced a Adaptive Surfing programme for people with disabilities.

Adaptive Surfing is delivered by specially trained surf coaches supported by a team of wonderful trained volunteers.

Each session is booked individually because each person has different needs and may require different levels of support. Their goal is to make the surfing experience as authentic as possible for each participant, removing any barriers that prevent them from accessing surfing.

This program is bringing joy to the participants and the parents and is such an amazing cause.

Please donate and help this great charity and help me reach my sponsorship goal
