In November I will be taking on the New York marathon for Breakthrough T1D.

James was diagnosed with Type1 diabetes just two weeks before he was 13; through a research trial he became a guinea pig for the artificial pancreas (otherwise known as the Hybrid Closed Loop).

This innovation has now been rolled out across the NHS for other children with T1D.

Please give what you can so we and others can say 'our children used to have type1 diabetes' - we are so close. All money goes to research working towards the end of T1D.
