Bohin, Millard and White Fundraiser for St Peter's Hospice

Stuart Bohin is raising money for St Peter's Hospice

24 Hour Darts Marathon · 29 August 2026

We've been providing tailored and holistic care to those in need in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset area for over 40 years. At your home or ours, we provide care without prejudice, regardless of condition, religion, beliefs or age - and always with your best interests at heart.

Story

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to look at our fundraising event.

We have all had to face troubling times when our loved ones become unwell and it is time we try to come together and do something about it.

Myself, Kev Millard and Gav White are taking part in a 24‑hour darts marathon with three teammates, and together we’re aiming for an incredible goal: scoring 1,000,001 points in just one day. We’ll be doing it at The Lawns in Yate on August Bank Holiday, 29th August 2026, surrounded by friends, supporters, and a full day of community fun.

But the real reason we’re doing this goes far beyond the challenge.

Every day, families across our area face the reality of life‑limiting illness. It affects everything — not just the person who is unwell, but the people who love them. The emotional strain, the uncertainty, and the fear can be overwhelming.

St Peter’s Hospice is there when people need it most. Their care brings dignity, comfort, and compassion at the hardest moments in life. They help manage pain, offer emotional support, and give families precious time together. Their work makes an enormous difference, but it relies heavily on fundraising and community support.

That’s why this event matters.

Throughout the day at The Lawns, we’ll have family games, a live band, a raffle, and a DJ, creating a brilliant atmosphere while raising money for a cause that touches so many lives. Every donation helps St Peter’s Hospice continue providing the care, comfort, and support that families depend on.

If you’re able to support us, you’ll be helping ensure that no one faces the toughest moments of life alone.
