Story
The EitC Stadium Sleepout helps raise vital funds for the charity’s Home Is Where The Heart Is programme, which is dedicated to helping those who are homeless or who are on the verge of being homeless.
Since launching, hundreds of supporters who have taken part in Sleepouts over the years have raised thousands of pounds towards the sustainability and development of HIWTHI, which has helped to prevent almost 100 young people from falling into homelessness to date.
EitC is asking supporters to help the charity continue to deliver the HIWTHI programme to those who need it most by taking part in a historic Sleepout at Everton’s new home on the banks of the River Mersey.
This is the third time I’ve taken part in the sleepout and I have been lucky enough to hear first hand how the money raised directly benefits young people at risk of being homeless.
I’m doing the easy part by sleeping out at the Everton stadium, some of those who benefit from Everton in the Community programme don’t have a choice when it comes to being made homeless so any money you can donate no matter how large or small will be spent on the Home is Where the Heart is project.
Thank you 💙
