Aplastic Anaemia is a rare but serious blood condition where the body stops producing enough new blood cells. Aplastic Anaemia can affect any age group and leaves sufferers extremely lethargic and in need of regular blood transfusions.
My mum was diagnosed with AA a few years ago and the effects of the condition have effectively deprived my parents of their retirement.
