On 21st July, I will be abseiling down Millennium Point in Birmingham as part of the PANS PANDAS UK #ChooseYourChallenge.

The sponsored abseil is to raise awareness of PANS and PANDAS and to raise funds for PANS PANDAS UK (the only UK charity working towards better diagnosis and early effective treatment for children affected by these conditions). PANS and PANDAS are post-infectious neuropsychiatric disorders which occur suddenly in children and young people and cause multiple, severe symptoms.

Funds raised will help the charity to continue their work with the Royal Colleges, specialist doctors, MPs and the NHS. Donations will also go towards ongoing work with schools to ensure they know how best to support children with PANS and PANDAS in the classroom. Your support will contribute towards the international push to ensure that every single person who develops PANS or PANDAS receives the treatment and support that they need.
