This year marks 10 years since we lost Lizzie to cancer. In her final year, she received exceptional care from Cornwall Hospice Care at St Julia’s Hospice in Hayle—care that brought comfort, dignity, and support when it was needed most.

To honour her memory, my dad Neil and I are attempting Cycle France 2025—a challenging 350-mile ride through northern France.

While we might find ourselves arguing over directions and indulging in too much cheese, our purpose is clear: to raise vital funds for a charity that holds a special place in our hearts.

Cornwall Hospice Care provided Lizzie with kindness and compassion beyond measure, and we want to ensure that other families facing similar journeys have access to the same level of care. With 83% of their funding coming from charitable donations, every pound is crucial in sustaining their services.
