Story
Back in 2024, the Brathay 10in10 beat me.
Most sensible people would have taken the hint.
Instead, after returning and completing the challenge, I've somehow decided that running 10 marathons in 10 days around Lake Windermere is still a good idea. So in May 2027, I'll be back for my fourth consecutive attempt.
That's 262 miles. Ten days. Countless cups of tea. An unhealthy amount of flapjack. And more pairs of running shoes than any normal person should own.
The reason for doing it again is simple: the Brathay Trust is an amazing charity that helps transform the lives of young people through programmes that build confidence, resilience and opportunity.
Every donation helps Brathay continue that work, and every message of support helps me get through another lap of Windermere when my legs are suggesting a different plan.
If you can spare a few pounds, I'd be hugely grateful.
Thank you for helping me make a difference, one marathon at a time.
10 marathons. 10 days. Still slightly mad. Still absolutely worth it.
