Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The Sparkle Bean Trust supports primary schools in the aftermath of the sudden death of a pupil by sharing learning (from experiences in the aftermath of the Manchester Arena Attack) with school communities and providing grants so that schools can lead their own recovery.
This July we remember Saffie-Rose Roussos, who would have been celebrating her 17th birthday. Her father Andrew once shared his deep concern that Saffie might become just another statistic and be forgotten. To honor her memory and ensure her vibrant spirit is celebrated, we have planned a special event in her style.
We hope to bring together a hundred cyclists for a memorial ride , starting at Tarleton Community Primary School which was Saffie`s school then onto Ormskirk District General Hospital where Saffie was born, then onto "The Plaice" chippy in Hough Lane, Leyland where Saffie lived then back to the school completing the journey in her honor.
This event is not only a tribute to Saffie on her special day but also an opportunity to raise funds for Sparkle Bean, an amazing charity established in 2022 by Chris Upton, Saffie`s former head teacher.
If you are able to donate we would be truly grateful to keep Saffie`s memory alive, also sharing our Gofundme page would also mean a great deal to the charity.
Saffie was full of joy, laughter and beauty, a true diamond, extra special in every sense of the word, we will always remember her for the incredible person she was.
