Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page. At the age of 60, I was inspired by witnessing an 80-year-old man complete his first half marathon. Motivated by his determination, I began my own running journey with the Couch to 5K program. The following year, I proudly completed the Great North Run. Crossing that finish line, I made a promise to myself: by the time I turn 70, I want to run a full marathon.

With my 70th birthday approaching on 8 August 2026, time is moving quickly. A good friend and gym buddy Karyn Feingold stepped in with support and commitment to help me achieve this goal. Unable to find a suitable marathon event for both of us, we decided to create our own challenge: running from Ripon Cathedral to York Minster — a remarkable 29-mile journey known as Minster 2 Minster.

I am raising funds for Ripon Community House, a vital local charity that provides room hire, classes, and support for community groups and services. This organisation is truly at the heart of Ripon, fostering connection and helping our community thrive.
