The SUFC Unity Group is trying to raise £6000 which will be split equally between The Forge Project in Scunthorpe and Scunthorpe United Football Club.

A group of volunteers will be spending the night outdoors at Paddocks Woods in North Kelsey. They will be attempting to build a shelter from resources in the woods and cook on a campfire. There may well also be live challenges!!!

The event will start at 1800 on the 23rd of January 2026 and end at 6 am on the 24th of January 2026. Whilst we do realise that 12 hours is not a very long challenge, unfortunately for those who find themselves homeless, every hour is a challenge when living on the streets. Statistically the majority of those people who find themselves homeless are ex service personnel or young people trying to escape abusive situations. The Forge project in Scunthorpe do tremendous work supporting those people who unfortunately find themselves homeless.
