I am taking over the captaincy of Ryston Park Golf Club for 2026, and my nominated charity for the year is the Cancer Care Unit (U180) at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn,

This unit holds a special place in my heart as they treated myself and recently my son plus several members of the golf club.

I don’t say this lightly, the Cancer Care Unit literally saved my life, the Doctors & Nurses at the unit worked tirelessly to make my treatment as comfortable as possible in the most frightening and distressing circumstances anyone can experience.

I feel it is the least I can do to show my gratitude to such a wonderful & caring bunch of angels
