The Mamie Martin Fund (MMF) supports girls' secondary education in North Malawi. Girls are less likely to go to secondary school than boys and are more likely to drop out before they have completed all four years. The MMF pays school fees and provides for other necessities like soap, notebooks and sanitary pads. The MMF work is managed locally by Mercy Sibande, who lives in Mzuzu.
