Story
I will be cycling 390 miles and climbing 25,830 feet of elevation to raise vital funds for Dreams Come True – a charity which supports children with disabilities, life-limiting conditions and serious illnesses who live in the most socially deprived areas of the country. 29% of children live in poverty in the UK (nearly 1 in every 3 children) and the likelihood of children living in poverty is higher for disabled children. In today’s challenging economic climate more children are falling into poverty – which means there are more children than ever before turning to the charity for support.
Everyone is covering their own costs – which means every penny you donate goes to the charity and deserving children they support. It’s going to be an endurance test for me like nothing I’ve done before. But knowing the benefit my efforts will bring to children who are in great need makes it so very worth it.
