In 2024 I am undertaking the Ford RideLondon-Essex 100 to raise funds for the Army Cadet Charitable Trust (ACCT) UK. ACCT UK wants to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence and be inspired through their Army Cadet experience. They provide financial and other help to make this so, especially where cost is a barrier to participation or achievement.

I do all I can to champion the amazing Army Cadets and by raising money for ACCT UK more Cadets will be supported during life changing activities. Your support, encouragement and a donation will be very welcome - thank you :-)

The Ford RideLondon-Essex 100, the centrepiece of the world’s greatest cycling festival, is the ultimate mass participation challenge ride, giving participants a unique opportunity to cycle on 100 miles of traffic-free roads. as with every endurance event you need to prepare both physically and mentally, and then hope that the weather is with you on the day ! Cycling 100 miles is no exception, and time spent in the saddle is time well spent. As well as quite some time cycling on Zwift with Le Col Cycling Club I have managed to get out and build a strong base, including in torrential rain and the latest strong winds! Now I need to keep this going in readiness for 26 May, which also just happens to be my Birthday!
