Lincoln Half Marathon · 5 October 2025

A scenic 13.1-mile route from the Lincolnshire Showground, making your way into the heart of the city. You will pass a few of Lincoln's iconic landmarks such as the historic Lincoln Castle and magnificent Lincoln Cathedral.

Story

In a moment of madness I have decided to sign up and take on the Lincoln Half Marathon this October. My furthest distance, to date, has been a smattering of 10Ks, so this will be a real challenge but for the greatest of causes, St Barnabas Hospice.

Any money you can donate to support me with this challenge would be greatly appreciated. You will be making a real difference to patients and families across Lincolnshire living with a life-limiting or terminal illness, ensuring St Barnabas can be there for them every day of the year.

Many charities at the moment, in particular hospices, are seeing demand for their services increase at the same time as experiencing an increasingly challenging and uncertain time, with rising running costs of £40,000 per day and recent National Insurance and National Living Wage increases further impacting St Barnabas.

Your support is more important than ever!

By way of example, every £19.93 raised will enable St Barnabas to provide one hour of specialist at-home care to a patient living with a life-limiting or terminal illness.

Give what you can, I will be forever grateful to you in playing a small part in raising some money to support this wonderful cause!
