James and Jordan would love you to join us on Saturday 28th November 2026 at The Hub at Ashmore Park, for a special #Stuff4Steph Coffee Morning, raising funds for Headway Black Country.

Wednesday 25th November 2026 marks 10 years since Steph died suddenly and unexpectedly from a brain haemorrhage, aged just 36.

To mark this anniversary, we're bringing people together to remember and celebrate Steph's life, share memories, enjoy a cuppa and, of course, eat plenty of cake! (It's what she would have wanted!).

The coffee morning takes place at The Hub at Ashmore Park, the community centre that Steph campaigned to help establish, where she later volunteered, and where James & Jordan are trustees.

As many people reading this will know, Steph was kind, thoughtful and always generous with her time, always looking out for others and often doing things for people before they'd even realised they needed doing. She was also fiercely determined, spoke her mind and didn't suffer fools gladly!

A devoted wife and mother, she loved her cats, photography and the natural world. Whether photographing wildlife or capturing someone's wedding day, she had a talent for noticing and appreciating the little things that mattered.

She cared passionately about her community. From campaigning against school closures and helping to establish The Hub at Ashmore Park, to organising events, volunteering and supporting local groups, Steph was always finding ways to make things better for others. She even has a car park named after her!

She often described herself as "idea-rich and time-poor", with a head full of plans and never quite enough hours in the day to make them happen.

She was, in her own words, a "militant optimist" - someone who thought, gave a fuck, and made a difference.

And that's exactly how we like to remember her.

Ten years of #Stuff4Steph

Since Steph's death in 2016, her family, friends and people who knew her have honoured her memory through #Stuff4Steph, a simple idea that encourages people to do something good for others.

Over the past decade, people have raised thousands of pounds for good causes and given thousands of hours of their time through volunteering, community activities and simple acts of kindness, all inspired by Steph and the spirit of #Stuff4Steph.

It's a wonderful legacy, and one we want to continue.

Who we're raising funds for

This year, we're supporting Headway Black Country, a local charity helping people whose lives have been affected by brain injury or stroke, as well as their families and carers.

A brain injury can happen to anyone and can turn lives upside down. Through specialist support, counselling, practical advice and activities, Headway helps people rebuild their confidence, regain independence and live fulfilling lives.

It's a cause particularly close to our hearts, and we're proud to support the important work they do across the Black Country.

How you can help

We'd love you to join us for a cuppa, a slice of cake (or two!) and a chance to remember Steph while raising money for a brilliant local cause.

Could you help make the morning a success?

We're looking for people who might be able to help in a couple of ways:

- Donate a raffle prize: We're holding a charity raffle and would love donations of prizes, big or small. Whether you're an individual, a local business or an organisation, we'd be grateful for anything you could contribute.

- Bake or bring a cake: Steph loved her cake, so we're hoping to have plenty on offer! If you enjoy baking, we'd love you to make something for the coffee morning. Shop-bought cakes are very welcome too – no baking skills required!

If you'd like to contribute a raffle prize or bring a cake, please get in touch with James directly via WhatsApp on 07790 006 180.

If you can't make it, you can still support us by donating through this page.

Every donation, big or small, will help Headway Black Country continue making a difference to people living with the effects of brain injury.

And, in the spirit of #Stuff4Steph, we'd encourage you to do something good for someone else too.

Thank you for helping us celebrate Steph's life and keeping her legacy of kindness, community spirit and making a difference alive.
