I am raising money for Cancer Research UK by running the Newport Marathon in memory of my beloved big brother Rich.

Back in 2008 Rich introduced me to his newfound hobby: running. I could never have imagined back then just what an incredible excuse for fun and adventure that hobby would become! Team Baldspeed was born and the two of us spent the next 15 years seeking out fun events and races, making new friends both at home and abroad and ticking off many marathons along the way (13 in total). In the process, many carbs (*some* beers) where consumed and many miles run but so so much love and laughter we always shared.

Devastatingly on the 15th December 2023 Rich died from cancer at the age of 52.

It feels fitting to be celebrating the most wonderful, courageous and fun loving big bro by running another 26.2miles and raising money for a great cause along the way!
