Story
The genocide in Sudan has seen over 150,000 men, women, and children killed, with countless people too injured, tortured, raped, missing, and displaced.
The UN have stated that the country are facing the ‘world’s worst humanitarian crisis’, with over 33 million people (two thirds of the entire population) in urgent need of humanitarian assistance, and 25 million people are facing famine, as the ‘war’ rages on with innocent individuals being persecuted.
I hope that with your kind support and generous donations, that we can distribute much needed food parcels to those families that are facing acute malnutrition, and in turn provide them with at least some respite.
Each food parcel will cost £30 as always and will provide a family of four to six individuals with rice, flour, oil, and other non-perishable food items that are the customary norm for those that are on the ground.
Please do donate if you are able to do so on this blessed day of the last Jumu’ah (which is of course the best day of the week to give in the sadaqah), of this sacred month of Muharram (which is the last sacred month for six months now and when the reward for all khair is magnified), even if it is just £2 (which is the minimum amount that can be donated on JustGiving), as no amount is ever too small when given purely for the sake of Allah(swt): www.justgiving.com/page/sudandeploymentfoodparcels
“And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan and the captive stating ‘We feed you only for the countenance of Allah, we wish not from you reward or gratitude but indeed we fear from our Lord a day austere and distressful.’ Allah will protect them from the evil of that day and give them radiance and happiness and He will reward them for what they had patiently endured with a garden in paradise and silk garments.” (76:8) ❤️
