Story
Windsor Hill Wood is a place of acceptance, of mutual sharing of skills, and somewhere to recover and grow. We take time managing the woodland, growing vegetables, looking after animals, cooking communal meals, doing carpentry and other activities. It is a place where all can give, and all can receive. Many of our guests live with anxiety or depression, whilst others may struggle with addiction issues. Some have been homeless; others have lost confidence and need respite to regain self-worth, learn new skills and feel able to contribute to the community and the wider world.
“This place has saved my life – simply that!”
