Story
I’ve signed myself up to do the 200k in May challenge for Brain Tumour Research 2026. Back in 2012 I was diagnosed with a planum sphanoidale/suprasellar meningioma. After 7-5 hours of surgery most of the tumour was removed but 10% was left as it was wrapped around my optic nerves. As a result I’ve lost the sight in my right eye and also my sense of smell. I’ve had regular mri scans to check the remainder of the tumour. So far so good as there’s been no significant change.
If you feel kind enough to donate to this great cause I have a justgiving page. Any donation no matter how big or small will be very much appreciated.
