Story
Ten years ago my father lost his battle with Multiple Myeloma, a cancer of the bone marrow for which there is currently no cure. This year, I am participating in the "Walk of Light Birmingham 2026" on March 28th in memory of him and for others like him to raise awareness of the charity Blood Cancer UK and support their vital work in funding research and providing assistance to those affected by blood cancer.
Since 1960, the charity has invested over £500 million in groundbreaking research that has transformed treatments and saved countless lives. Right now, Blood Cancer UK is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.
I invite you to help me to reach my fundraising target of £750. Your donation can help make a significant impact on advancing research and providing hope to those affected by blood cancer. Together, we can create a brighter future for all.
