I’m proud to be taking part in a fundraising event for Wigan and Leigh Hospice, a truly incredible charity that provides compassionate care for people across the Wigan borough living with illnesses that are no longer curable.

This isn't just about raising money, it's about raising support for those facing one of the most difficult journeys in life, and for the families walking that path alongside them.

Wigan and Leigh Hospice offers far more than just medical care. They provide dignity, comfort, and peace during some of the most emotional moments a person can experience. Their team supports not only patients but also the families and friends left heartbroken by the loss of someone they love. And they do it with grace, empathy, and endless dedication.

Many of us will, at some point, rely on a service like this—for ourselves, a parent, a partner, a friend. That’s why I’m fundraising. Because hospices don’t just make the end of life bearable, they make it meaningful.
