Swim the Channel

Join the Chilterns Neuro Centre to take on the challenge of swimming the Channel in the month of August!

Story

Nearly 24 years ago I was diagnosed with MS. I have been extremely fortunate over those years not to deteriorate and know how lucky I am.

Since becoming a volunteer 5 years ago I have personally witnessed the amazing support the Centre provides for its members and am hoping this challenge will not only raise some money for such a great cause but also get me swimming regularly again.

The Chilterns Neuro Centre is a local independent charity based in Wendover that believes everyone affected by multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's and Stroke survivors in the Chilterns area deserves to lead a healthier and happier life. We empower people to do this by helping them achieve their goals through physical, practical and emotional support for the entire family, for as long as they need. Our care is free and we aim to support people to live happier and healthier lives by improving symptoms and helping them to achieve personal goals.

We love what we do and couldn't do it without your support. Thank you for helping us raise over £1 million annually to fund our care. Every penny is needed to do what we do.
