The Cancer Centre at Wigan is close to our hearts as Sue had her treatment here for her recent and previous cancer diagnosis.

Our Cancer Care Centre at Wigan Infirmary opened in 2016 and offers some chemotherapy treatments which used to be undertaken at the Christie. This means it is much easier for patients and reduces travelling time whilst they are undergoing treatment.

Our Centre offers a wide range of complementary therapy treatments for example reiki and massage are offered at the Centre, which many patients find very helpful and eases some of their symptoms. There is also a sensory garden which has been designed to give cancer patients, their families and carers a relaxing, comfortable retreat within the Hospital grounds.

The Centre relies on charitable donations, to support and develop they fabulous service they offer there.
