Story
I'm raising money for CAFOD on a Pilgrimage of Hope during the Jubilee Year. Please sponsor me if you can. I'm taking on this challenge in memory of my dad, Trevor Stockton. He was a remarkable man and the best role model I could have wished for. He worked for many years as a CAFOD volunteer, was committed wholeheartedly to his faith and he loved to walk.
I will be walking 16.3 miles on Saturday 6th September, from Worcester to Bromsgrove. On Sunday 7th I will walk a further 13.4 miles from Bromsgrove to Harbourne. I'm doing this for dad, and because of him; he is my inspiration.
You could also write a prayer or intention as you leave your gift. Something you'd like me to pray for as I walk, for the people around the world who will benefit from your donation. I'll check for these prayers and thoughts as I go and carry them with me on my pilgrimage.
Your donation will fund CAFOD's work in communities around the world who are fighting poverty. With your help we can build a better world.
