Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you will know my wife Sue sadly died from a terminal brain tumour in October 2015.
In the time since she was diagnosed with cancer in 2010 we have found many ways to raise funds to support the fabulous work of the Christie Hospital whose amazing staff provided outstanding care and treatment during the 5 years Sue was in their care.
Over the last 15 years some of the things I've done include:
Running at several 5K and 10k events
Pushed a very large teddy in wheelchair in the Manchester 10k event

With the kind assistance of authors Mike Eyre, Richard Allen and Peter Greaves raised over £5,000 from sales of their book LUT The Fleet – 1900-1981

Raised over £5,000 from free downloads of a number of out of print titles from the Venture Publications range of Prestige & Super Prestige titles.https://www.mdsbooks.co.uk/downloads
In 2019 I walked to all 11 away fixtures for Glossop Cricket Club 1st XI. I'm the scorer for the side so needed to be be there before the match started around 1pm. As the walks were between 8 and 28 miles there were some very early starts involved (and some very wet walks)!
