Sue’s fundraiser for Holly’s Heroes

Susan Snaith is raising money for Holly’s Heroes
Introducing Holly's Heroes - a charity born after witnessing my 14 year old daughter's struggle after her diagnosis with cancer. We want to offer children with cancer fun and enjoyable experiences, a chance to make precious memories, a chance to smile whilst enduring the most difficult of times.

Story

I have dusted off my running shoes and on 10th May, I am running the Staines 10k for Holly's Heroes.

Holly was diagnosed with a rare childhood cancer, Rhabdomyosarcoma and endured months of intensive treatment. Holly’s mum Emma was by her side every step of her treatment until she fell asleep for the last time, losing her battle against this disease.

Emma witnessed the positive impact outings and experiences had on Holly, to enjoy time with friends and family, being happy, laughing and making memories.

Emma created Holly’s Heroes to be able to offer families facing childhood cancer, the opportunity to enjoy time together and create positive memories. Holly’s Heroes has already given many families some fantastic days out together and I wanted to support this charity to help them continue their fantastic work.
