Royal Papworth Charity exists to support the ground-breaking work of Royal Papworth Hospital. With increasing pressures on the NHS, the Charity plays a vital role in ensuring that the Hospital continues to provide the highest standards of care by investing in staff development, improving the Hospital environment for our patients and supporting research into new ways of treating heart and lung disease. Our patients, their families and the staff are at the heart of everything we do, this is all made possible by the generosity of our supporters.

Sue spent several months at Royal Papworth on the Respiratory Support & Sleep Ward during her long 17 months spent as an inpatient at 5 different hospitals and graced the ward again on numerous occasions afterwards since being cared for at home from March 2023. The care and support she was given was exemplary by all staff, making each admission more bearable and for that in line with Sue’s wishes we would like to give something back to support this Hospital and its work.
