Caroline House in Norwich, provides specialist inpatient services for patients with complex neurological disabilities that are a result of conditions such as acquired brain injury and spinal injuries. We are the charity that supports them.

Story

I am raising funds for Caroline House, which is a specialist service for patients with complex neurological disabilities that are a result of conditions such as acquired brain injury and spinal injuries.

Charity donations are used to fund additional equipment such as sensory projectors, extra therapies such as Neuro Music Therapy and treatments like Speech & Language Therapy software. These would not be possible with NHS funding alone, and so your support is really appreciated to help make a difference for patients now and in the future.

Sue spent 5 months out of her 17 month stay between September 2021 and March 2023 at Caroline House part of the Colman Hospital in Norwich and whilst if was soon established that they wouldn’t be able to help improve on her overall situation much, they implemented changes that enabled Sue to be able to control and manage some of her own daily needs and planned for and executed Sue’s wishes to be cared for at home, that required two car journeys to bring home the one months initial supplies of equipment needed.

In memory of Sue and her wishes we would like to be able to give something back to the Hospital for the care and support that they provided, so that other patients have access to equipment that can make their hospitalisation more beneficial.

Thank you

Paul, Zoe & Hannah
