Story

Thank you for visiting my page. I've chosen to join Turn the Page, a month long reading challenge for Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments.

Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. With only 5,300 people diagnosed every year, sarcoma can be a very isolating diagnosis for patients, friends and family.

My 22 year old grandson has been diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer called Ewings Sarcoma which only affects teenagers. Many of the kids who come thro this have life changing amputations and the chemo is brutal. We urgently need to find a cure for this devastating disease
