I am thrilled to announce that I have been given the incredible opportunity to run in the 2025 London Marathon. This journey is not just a personal milestone but also a chance to make a significant impact by supporting a cause close to my heart: the RNID (Royal National Institute for Deaf People).

Hearing loss affects many of us, especially as we age. For some, like me, it is a lifelong challenge. Thanks to advancements in technology, children and even infants can now receive cochlear implants, opening up a world of sound that was previously inaccessible. Imagine the joy of hearing an owl hoot, a woodpecker peck, or a baby's first laugh — sounds that I have been fortunate to experience thanks to technology.

By donating, you will support both my marathon journey and the RNID's mission to provide these life-changing experiences to those who are deaf or have hearing loss. Even a small contribution can make a big difference, enabling children to explore and enjoy the rich tapestry of sounds in our world.
