The London Life Hike · 8 September 2024 ·

Introducing the London Life Hike, our first sponsored walk. Take on a 20km or 5km journey through the beating heart of London and help us save even more lives.

Story

In September 2023 without any warning, I suffered a Sudden Cardiac Arrest at home. I was very lucky that my husband acted quickly and performed CPR until London Ambulance Service parademics arrived to take over. Together with the incredible care of the Cardiac ICU team at St George's Hospital, I survived.

Currently, less than 8% of out of hospital cardiac arrest patients survive, which is partly due to lack of CPR training and awareness and a shortage of public access Defibrillators.

On Sunday 8th September, together with family and friends, I will be walking the London Life Hike, a sponsored walk for the London Ambulance Charity. Every donation will help save lives by funding training the life-saving skills of CPR and placing more public-access defibrillators across the Capital.

Beat by beat, step by step, help us help save more London lives.

As a family we would be very grateful of any donations however small as this will all go towards funding more life saving equipment. Thank you for supporting us in our aim to save more lives xx
