OWR is a wildlife conservation charity dedicated to the rescue, care, and rehabilitation of sick, injured, and orphaned British wildlife. We rescue c. 3000 animals per year, and our aim is always to release back to the wild, where the animals belong. We're funded solely by donations from the public.

Story

As you know, I spend my Tuesday afternoons volunteering for Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue (OWR), a local charity which rescues and rehabilitates British Wildlife.

The charity started out in the kitchen of the charity's Founders with just a few animals. Now the Charity helps over 4000 animals each year. The aim is always to release them back into the wild, where they belong!

OWR are currently fundraising to be able to purchase land of their own, to set up a permanent base to operate from and to eventually build Oxfordshire's first Wildlife Hospital.

Therefore on 28th September 2024, along with 3 friends, I am taking on the challenge of climbing Snowdon. My personal aim, alongside completing the challenge, is to raise as much money as possible for OWR!

Please do give what you can - thank you in advance for your support!
