Dad, David and I have received so many lovely messages from family and friends about Mum. About how very much she will be missed, and how kind, warm, gentle and talented she was. It is such a comfort to hear how she touched so many people's lives.

Trying to think of a fitting way to pay tribute to Mum we decided on the Woodland Trust because of Mum's love of trees and all of nature. She had a passion for caring for and protecting the trees in her beloved garden and everywhere. She raised us to believe in the magic of the natural world and viewed nature in the same way as she approached life, with curiosity, wonder and equal respect for everything from the tallest tree to the smallest ant. Apart from slugs - she really didn't like slugs!

We greatly appreciate any donation you're able to make in Mum's memory and look forward to reading your messages too.
