Jacob and Steve are taking on the Runaway Racing 50K Suffolk Coastal Path, running from Lowestoft to Aldeburgh, to raise awareness of the importance of men having somewhere safe to talk. This will be Jacob’s first ever attempt at a 50K distance.

Both Jacob and Steve are Captains for Talk Club Aylesbury, meaning they host and support local sessions in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, currently held at Pegasus Gym and the Aylesbury Therapy Centre.

Talk Club gives men a confidential, respectful and non-judgemental space to talk openly about what is on their minds with other men. There is no pressure to have all the answers or to share more than you want to. What is said in the room stays in the room, and everyone is treated with the same respect. Sometimes simply being able to say how you are really doing, and knowing someone else is listening, can make a huge difference.

Through hosting these sessions, Steve and Jacob have seen first-hand the benefit that connection, conversation and community can have for men.
