Team: Suggs and Hoppy fundraising for Place2Be

In memory of Daniel Sugrue

London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 · 12 April 2026 ·

For the tears we see. And those we don’t. Take in the capital's iconic sights with Team Place2Be at London Landmarks 2026 and help us reach more children before it's too late.

Story

Suggs and Hoppy are running again in memory of Daniel Sugrue, who tragically lost his fight with mental health on 28 July 2024. Many of you supported us last year, when four Investment Trust Old Boys ran the Olympic Half. We remain extremely grateful for your support. We run again to raise money for Place2Be, who were so pleased with our efforts last year, offered us two spots in the London Landmarks Half Marathon on 12 April 2026. Injuries have made the selection process much easier! The support that Place2Be gives to children and young adults suffering from mental health problems goes on and whilst Mike and Phil would prefer to be settling down to watch the last day of the Masters, a run around the famous buildings of London must be completed first and then the focus will turn to rehydration.

Any support you can give to Place2Be is very much appreciated but most importantly we repeat last years' message. Please try to positively impact someone's day - you could make the difference to someone that is struggling.

Place2Be is the UK's leading school-based mental health charity, providing support to children, families and school-based staff when they need it most. Please visit place2be.org.uk for more.
