SUKA Singapore is raising money for Refuge
Donations cannot currently be made to this page
Refuge opened the world’s first refuge in West London in 1971. We support thousands of women & children every day, experiencing domestic and sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, stalking, trafficking, prostitution & so-called ‘honour’ based violence.

Story

SUKA is pleased to host a Step Challenge over the month of March, to raise funds for Refuge.

Refuge is committed to a world where violence against women and girls is not tolerated. They empower women and children escaping domestic abuse to rebuild their lives, free from fear, by providing a range of lifesaving services. They offer emergency, safe accommodation across their network of refuges, as well as vital emotional and practical support. This includes advocacy and support with housing and welfare rights, criminal justice and children’s support. Refuge also runs the National Domestic Abuse Helpline where they provide high-quality, trauma-informed support including safety planning, information on rights and options and referrals to refuges and other specialist services, and emotional support.
