Story
As Chair of the Official Supporters’ Clubs here at Birmingham City Football Club, I’m incredibly proud to stand alongside our members and the Foundation by taking part in this year’s Sleep Out under the Gill Merrick Stand.
For me, this isn’t just another event on the calendar — it’s a reminder of why our club, our supporters, and our community matter so much. Every week, we hear more stories of families skipping meals, children heading to school hungry, and older people having to choose between heating their homes or eating a hot meal. Food insecurity isn’t just about going without, it’s about living each day with the worry of not having enough. And that’s something no one in our community should face alone.
This year, on Blue Nose Day, we’re launching a campaign to take direct action. Together with the Foundation, we will be redistributing surplus food into the communities that need it most. It’s a simple idea with a powerful impact: no good food should go to waste, and no one should be left hungry.
I’m asking fellow Blues fans everywhere to join me. By supporting this page, you’ll be helping us get food straight to those who are struggling right now: families, young people, older residents, and anyone living with the daily pressure of not knowing where the next meal is coming from.
Blues have always looked after their own. Let’s show once again what our community can do when we come together.
