Isaac Puffett is raising money for Resuscitation Council UK

Restart a Heart Day CPR Activities · 16 October 2025

Resuscitation Council UK is working towards a day when every person in society has the skills they need to save a life. Currently, not everyone has an equal chance of surviving the ultimate medical emergency. Simple lifesaving skills and confidence aren’t yet as widespread as they should be. If you live in some of the poorest parts of the UK, or come from a particular ethnic minority background, you may be less likely to survive a cardiac arrest. This is not acceptable. Together as a community we are demanding urgent action from the UK’s leaders to change this and make sure everyone has an equal chance of survival.

Story

Resuscitation Council UK's mission is to ensure everyone in the UK learns lifesaving CPR skills, so more people feel confident and ready to step in when it counts most.

Restart a Heart (RSAH) is an annual initiative led by Resuscitation Council UK which aims to increase the number of people surviving out-of-hospital cardiac arrests by helping more people learn CPR and become ResusReady.

Southampton University lifesaving Club is collaborating with SWEMS, and Soton First Aid to teach CPR and raise funds for Resuscitation Council UK
