I am hiking around Cave Hill in Northern Ireland for UK Wild Otter Trust because every otter deserves a chance of survival.

The UK Wild Otter Trust rescues, rehabilitates and releases back into the wild orphaned and injured Eurasian otter cubs. In 2022, the charity rescued 31 otter cubs and released 28 rehabilitated otters back in to the wild. They also completed their specialist rehabilitation centre comprising of 19 enclosures, 2 cub rooms, a cub hospital and treatment room and it is the largest specialist centre in the UK. In 2023 they are building a new otter cub isolation and hospital room.

I have been volunteering (online communications and fundraising officer) with the UK Wild Otter Trust since August 2021.
