Castle is taking on another challenge! After completing our walking challenge in 2024, we’ve set ourselves a brand-new goal. This time, a group of us will attempt to walk 27 miles in a single day, from Druridge Bay to Tynemouth. Some of us will power-walk to the finish, others may take a slower approach, but every one of us is determined to cross the line for a fantastic cause.

We’re raising funds to help change lives, supporting everyone affected by heart conditions through lifelong care, compassion, and action.

Across the North East, Red Sky supports babies, children, adults, and their families by funding vital equipment, raising awareness, and helping power the exceptional work of the Children’s Heart Unit at the Freeman Hospital, along with NHS services.

Red Sky also working to make our communities safer by installing life saving defibrillators in schools and public spaces—helping people live, learn, work, and play with greater confidence.
