3 peaks. 24 hours. 1 mission.
Snowdon ✓ Scafell Pike ✓ Ben Nevis ✓
Our Executive Team at Journey are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for Breast Cancer Now, a cause close to our hearts. The UKs highest peaks, tackled back-to-back with minimal rest and maximum ambition. 23 miles of walking. 3,000 metres climbed. Most people prepare for months. They've have had weeks and varying degrees of denial about what this actually involves.

"I am incredibly proud that Journey is supporting Breast Cancer Now. Over the past year, following my own breast cancer diagnosis, it has become a lifeline for me during a very uncertain and overwhelming time.
A cancer diagnosis has a way of suddenly taking away your sense of control. Alongside the practical realities of treatment comes a lot of fear, questions, and moments where your mind starts racing - often in the dark and worrying hours of the night. During those moments the Breast Cancer Now app was such an anchor. Knowing there was somewhere I could go at any hour to find clear information, read other peoples experiences, ask questions in their forums, or simply understand what might lie ahead brought a huge amount of reassurance.
One of the most powerful things about the charity is the sense of community it creates. Breast cancer treatment is deeply personal and every journey is different, but being able to connect with people asking the same questions, sharing their stories, and supporting each other makes you feel far less alone. That constant, 24-hour support has been incredibly comforting throughout my treatment.
I also want to take a moment to thank my amazing colleagues at Journey. From the immediate support I received from Mark and Simon when I first shared the news, through the shock of discovering chemotherapy was ahead, and throughout the many months of treatment that followed, the kindness and encouragement from the team has meant the world.
I will never forget the week when I braved the shave, walking into the office feeling truly exposed and vulnerable. The warmth and humour from everyone made it feel completely normal. It has also been incredibly moving to hear from so many colleagues who have shared their own experiences of cancer - stories that remind you just how many families carry this in their lives.
It has been a challenging year, but also one where I have felt truly supported by both the Breast Cancer Now community and the people around me at Journey. Being able to give something back to an organisation that has helped me so much and is making such progress in breast cancer research means a great deal. I am incredibly honoured that Journey is standing behind such an important cause."

Please donate what you can, or share this if you cant. Every pound funds research that saves lives, and momentum builds when people who care make noise about things that matter.
