On Friday 21st June, Kate Jackson and Lauren Strand will be doing the Summit at Sunset challenge and walking up the fourth highest mountain in England; Skiddaw for sunset. The event is for the amazing charity, Hospice at Home.

Hospice at Home’s aim has always been to provide a peaceful and dignified death for every patient at home, whilst also supporting their families and carers. This is at the heart of our service and will always remain so, with over 900 new referrals plus existing patients cared for and supported by Hospice at Home each year. All of our services are free of charge to our patients, and our aim of providing more care for more people is being made possible by the generosity of kind people like you.

Hospice at Home is a charity very close to both our hearts. Currently, the hospice are looking after Laurens grandma who is diagnosed with cancer.

The hospice have also looked after many of Kates relations in the past, they looked after her late Nana who passed away in 2021. They also looked after Kates partners grandads.

To try and exceed our fundraising target we are organising a bingo and charity auction night on Friday 14th June at Greystoke Village Hall, 7pm – eyes down at 7:30pm. We would love for you to come and join us to raise funds for a well worthy charity.
