Rock UK Summit Centre in South Wales host an indoor climbing facility that provides sport, wellbeing and community to Merthyr Tydfil and surrounding areas. Over 170 young people a week use the climbing wall from the local area as well as hundreds of local climbers, school groups, scouts, guides, cadets and military organisations. The climbing wall provides a vital facility to them all. As climbing has developed in recent years a new modern climbing facility is required to continue supporting climbing in Wales. A facility that can support both the local climbing community and climbing as a sport in Wales.

Help us create a national climbing facility for Wales that can support the local climbing community and provide a platform for future athletes from Wales. A climbing facility with modern lead climbing walls, grass roots community driven climbing walls and speed climbing facilities.

The funds raised here are to match monies granted for the preliminary works that are needed to apply for large grants and funding to build the climbing wall.
